The Huaihai Avenue consists of the three sections of east, central and west. Covering a total distance of 6 kilometers it is a well-known business street in Shanghai. The briskest section runs from the Tibet Road to Shaanxi Road. extending 2. 2 kilometers in length. Featuring a straight and wide road, the Huaihai Avenue belonged to the French Concession in the past with buildings featuring many architectural styles. The avenue lined on both sides with "plane trees" stands out distinctive in Euro-continental demeanor.
